Urine routine microscopy is a microscopic examination of a urine samples to check for the presence of blood cells, crystals, bacteria, parasites, and cells from tumors in it.

Urinalysis, a portmanteau of the words urine and analysis, is a panel of medical tests that includes physical examination of the urine, chemical evaluation using urine test strips, and microscopic examination.
